'SURESHOCK', A Melbourne based band

Since hitting the Melbourne scene this group has continually expanded its horizons, gigging throughout the many thriving venues that house Melbourne's best talent. All SURESHOCK members were exclusively invited to play for the weddings of Natalie Imbruglia and Daniel Johns, as well as Tara Moss and Mark Pernell, and have performed for numerous Corporate and high profile events. As session Artists, they have individually and collectively worked with some of the top musicians, Artists and performers of Australia.

SURESHOCK was founded by drums and Bass Brothers (Nick and Chris Karasavvidis) Inviting guitarist Simon Edwards  to the band as they all shared a solid and undeniable chemistry and a common love for funk; past, present and future. In 2003, SURESHOCK hit the Melbourne scene and performed a tribute to the great master's of Soul, Funk, Hip Hop, R&B and Neo-Soul with arrangements and interpretations of material from James Brown, Grandmaster Flash, Prince, Erikah Badu, The Roots, Led Zeplin and Santana to name a few.

Today, SURESHOCK has extended it's repertoire of original music and is now at the stage to expand to larger venues to accommodate it's fans and it's future with  their unique and staple sound that has further defined their style. After the release of their first CD single, 'Beautiful September' in late '07, this year will see SURESHOCK continue to showcase its original music with production of its debut EP, 'I Give It Up' for launch in October '09.
